ESA Student Sponsorship
The ESA Education Office is pleased to offer a sponsorship to attend IGARSS 2012 to full-time students (aged 18-28 at the time of the conference) holding the nationality of an ESA Member State* or Cooperating State**.
Students selected by ESA's Education Office will be reimbursed their conference registration fee and up to a maximum of 300€ in travel and accommodation expenses. Sponsorship will be in the form of a single reimbursement after the conference.
Only applications compliant with the Terms and Conditions for the sponsorship will be considered.
To apply for sponsorship, students shall register on the ESA Education Portal (http://joinspace.org). Once registered they shall login within the same interface, locate the IGARSS conference (Intl Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium) and apply by submitting the following documentation:
- "Document 1": Cover letter (1 page explaining the relevance of the conference and expected personal contribution to it)
- "Document 2" The accepted abstract
- "Document 3" Updated version of the CV (maximum 2 pages, no images)

* ESA Member States at the beginning of 2011: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Romania acceded to the ESA Convention at the beginning of 2011.
** Cooperating States: Canada, Estonia, Hungary, Poland and Slovenia.
