Venue
The International Congress Centre Munich (ICM) has been selected to host IGARSS 2012. It is one of the most modern and successful congress centers in Europe and satisfies the best prerequisites for major international conventions.
It is situated at the New Munich Fair Trade, West Entrance – only 18 minutes via metro from the city center. The Novotel Hotel and a shopping center are nearby. The New Munich Fair Trade opened in 1998. It is located at the former Munich-Riem Airport site. The old airport tower and the main entrance hall, now called Wappenhalle, are preserved until today and can be visited.
