Hotel Information

The IGARSS 2012 Organizing Committee has secured blocks of rooms in dedicated hotels at different sites in Munich, all conveniently connected to both city center and ICM. All these hotels agreed reserving a room contingent at a fixed rate for IGARSS 2012 including a Low-Price-Guaranty.

IGARSS 2012 Hotel Locations and Rates Overview

The table below gives a compact overview of all IGARSS 2012 contingent hotels. All hotels in the city area are sited very close to Hauptbahnhof (Central Railway Station) and U-Bahn (Underground/Subway/Metro) U2 stations towards ICM (International Congress Center Munich). All other ones have close distances to S-Bahn (Suburban train) and/or U-Bahn stations and no parking problems in case of using a car. A click on the map gives an overview of all IGARSS 2012 hotel locations and their distances to public transport. Note that the map unit is 500 m/2000 ft which can be walked easily.

Recommendations

The Novotel Muenchen Messe is conveniently located adjacent to ICM. A small contingent of rooms with a special rate for early booking IGARSS attendees could be secured. Further rooms at normal rates are also available in this hotel. A large variety of hotels are available close to Munich Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof) or close to the city center (Marienplatz). In the hotel list above you find a list of selected hotels with the corresponding transfer time to the conference center with public transportation. Please add the walking time to the transfer time with public transportation to get the total travel time.
